From The Trail

Finishers Tell It Best

I've raced ultras for a decade but never run six days through the Dolomites with someone else carrying my bag between huts. This is a different kind of hard — and a different kind of good.

Sarah K.Boulder, CO

Dolomites Traverse Finisher

The route briefings and pacing support on the high cols made a genuinely dangerous mountain day feel completely manageable. I'd have never attempted this on my own.

Marcus T.Bristol, UK

Alpine Ridge Ultra Finisher

Waking up in a rifugio at 2,700m and running straight onto a ridgeline before sunrise — that's the whole reason I got into this sport.

Training, Gear & Mountain Safety

Training

You should be comfortable running 3-4 hours back-to-back and covering 20-25km on trails with significant vertical gain. We recommend a 12-week build-up with at least one long back-to-back weekend (run Saturday, run again Sunday) to simulate multi-day fatigue.
